Western blot analysis was performed on tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Heart (Lane 1), Rat Heart (Lane 2), Rat Skeletal Muscle (Lane 3), Mouse Kidney (Lane 4) and Mouse Skin (Lane 5). The blot was probed with anti-Caveolin 3 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-19116, 0.2µg/mL) and detected by chemiluminescence using Rabbit anti-Goat IgG Heavy Chain Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27014, 0.25 µg/mL, 1:4000 dilution). A 17 kDa band corresponding to Caveolin 3 was observed in Mouse Heart, Rat Heart, Rat Skeletal Muscle when compared to Mouse Kidney and Mouse Skin which are reported to be negative for Caveolin 3 expression.
